Women’s
Employment Network (WEN) maintains a clothing bank of donated
professional business attire for our graduates. WEN’s Professional
Clothing Bank is designed to help:
- Build
self-esteem and confidence
- Provide
appropriate clothing for WEN graduates to wear to interviews
and in the workplace
- Educate
women about appropriate workplace attire and how to economically
build a professional wardrobe
Quality Guidelines
Please help us by considering your donations carefully and donating only
professional items that you would wear to an interview or in a professional
business environment. Clothing donations must adhere to the following
guidelines:
- Clean
and in excellent condition
- Up-to-date
and in style
- Reflect
corporate business style (suits, blazers, tailored skirts,
and dress slacks)
- Shoes
should be appropriate for a business setting and in excellent
condition
- Hosiery
should be new and unopened
- Jewelry,
scarves and handbags should be conservative,in good condition
and suitable for a business
setting
- Plus-size
clothing is greatly needed and appreciated.

WEN is a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Delivery
Times
Donations are accepted between 9 a.m. and noon Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday only.
Delivery Location:
WEN is centrally located in downtown Kansas City in the Courtview Building, - just north of the new Federal Courthouse at 720 Oak on the
2nd floor. For directions, click here.
If you need assistance in transporting items from your car to the
WEN offices on the second floor, please make arrangements before your
