Continuum of Care
At WEN, we understand that achieving economic independence often requires much more than a resume. Through a network of community partners, WEN offers women and their families a continuum of support.
Together, WEN’s team of trainers and case managers work with each woman to identify her unique needs and potential barriers to economic success. WEN connects women to critical community resources to assist with a range of issues including housing, childcare, health care, domestic abuse, transportation, food, legal assistance, credit counseling and much more.
To partner with WEN as a resource or referral for women and families, contact Deanna Harrison at (816) 822-8083, x106 or email dharrison@kcwen.org.
Community Service Partners
WEN has been adopted by Kansas City Commercial Real Estate Women (KC CREW) as its charitable community service partner. KC CREW hosts many fun and educational events to benefit WEN. Past events have included KC CREW’s annual golf tournament, wine tasting and cooking demonstration. KC CREW’s annual golf tournament benefiting WEN will be Monday, September 22 at the Falcon Ride Golf Course in Lenexa. To learn more, click here.
