WEN maintains a Professional Clothing Bank of donated professional attire for our graduates.
** Professional Clothing Bank Update - November 15, 2011 **
The Women's Employment Network Professional Clothing Bank will not be accepting donations December 15 through January 6th, 2012. We will resume donations on Januray 9th, 2012. Thank you for supporting the Women's Employment Network Professional Clothing Bank and we wish you a wonderful holiday season.
Please remember the following guidelines when making a clothing donation.
Donation Guidelines
Spring and summer clothing accepted April - September and fall and winter clothing accepted October - March.
- Clothing must be in the current season and no more than three years old.
- We can only accept professional clothing that is suitable for a job interview (e.g., suits, blazers, blouses, dress slacks).
- All clothing items must be delivered clean, pressed and on hangers (so that a woman could proudly wear your donated items to an interview tomorrow).
- Clothing in boxes and bags will not be accepted.
- WEN also accepts professional shoes, purses and modest accessories that are in excellent condition.
Donation Times
Donations are accepted Monday through Thursday, from 9 am to noon. An appointment is not necessary. Loading and unloading zones and metered parking are available in front of our building at 920 Main Street. (directions)
