It All Begins with Training
WEN’s training program is uniquely structured to meet the varying needs and skill levels of women in all stages of employment: those who are unemployed, underemployed, laid off, new to the job market or seeking to re-enter the workplace.
WEN understands that achieving economic stability requires training and support at multiple levels. With a unique focus on personal responsibility and self-confidence, the training program offers a comprehensive approach that includes:
Tonia Bomar, WEN's Employment Services Representative, is thrilled to have ROX Jobs as a new corporate partner. "WEN clients typically complain of the technological hurdles and endless job-search websites out there right now,” Bomar said. “There is a lot of frustration one faces when new to the modern job-searching environment. The ROX Jobs website will help to narrow down the job-search focus for our clients."
Overcoming Barriers to Success
WEN provides professional case management services for women who need assistance in overcoming personal obstacles to successful employment. Licensed case managers work individually with each woman to help her resolve barriers to her economic stability such as challenges with housing, domestic violence, child care, transportation, healthcare, etc.
Confidence to Succeed
Within a positive environment, WEN’s team of trainers, case managers, the Employment Services Representative and community volunteers constantly encourage women to believe in themselves and their capacity to create a better future for themselves — and their families.
