JOIN
US IN MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF WOMEN AND THEIR FAMILIES
WEN volunteers have the opportunity to connect directly with women and
make an immediate impact on their lives. Opportunities include:
- Guest Presentations/Workshop
Facilitation: Share an area of your expertise relevant to career women. Topics
of interest include time management, office etiquette, financial
planning and women’s health.
- Resume Writing and Job Search: Work
one-on-one to help women strengthen their resumes and search
for jobs.
- Mock Interviews: Conduct mock interviews
with women to help build their confidence, offering positive
feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Clothing Bank: Professional
clothing donations ensure WEN graduates are appropriately attired
for
interviews and the workplace. Assist with upkeep of the clothing
bank. Individual donations to WEN’s professional clothing
bank can be made between 9 a.m. and Noon Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
For more information about the clothing bank, click here.
- WEN Works:
Businesses host WEN women in training for customized company tours to help them expand their understanding of succeeding in the workplace. WEN Works visits often include special presentations, receptions, and mock interviews.
- Training Sponsors: Businesses and organizations can “adopt” a group of women in a five-week training session. Training sponsors contribute orientation and graduation gifts for each woman such as padfolios, planners, motivational items, flowers, etc.

"WEN holds a very special place in my heart. Each time I volunteer,
I come away with far more than I contributed. I cannot imagine doing
anything more worthwhile." - Jan, WEN Volunteer |
